Valarie Wolf is a multi award winning artists working primarily in oils. She is the recipient of two prestigious awards from the American Academy of Equine Art: The Jean Bowman Memorial Award for Painting, and The Else Tuckerman Memorial Award for Classical Portraiture. She was also honored with The People's Choice Award at the Horses in Motion Exhibit.

Her paintings are accomplished by applying many painstaking layers of thin glazes, ultimately resulting in a painting with fine detail and luminosity.
