Equine and Wildlife painter Misty Lynn Auld sees
the special beauty arising from the wild streak in every animal.
Using various media, she strives to bring out that spirit in each
creature she portrays, whether it be a family pet, a prized stallion
or a deep forest dweller. In detailed realism, she captures each
animals unique spirit and charisma. She aims to draw the viewer
into the mind of the animal. For them to see and experience what
the animal is experiencing. Even if it only lasts an instant...

Mistys inspiration stems from scenes she
finds at the local horse shows, farms, zoos and everyday environments
around her home. Her own family, Collie, Pyrenees, and cats have
also served as muses for her work.
|
| Misty has participated in the Ohio State Fairs
Fine Art Show as well as group shows at local venues. She is a devoted
member of The Equine Art Guild and The League of Animal Artists. Her
work hangs in private collections across the country. Her hope is
for commission clients and collectors of her originals to absorb themselves
in the beauty of the untamed spirits she releases with each new work. |
