Originally from New Jersey, Linda discovered her passion for art when, at the age of 30 she moved to a small farming community in Pennsylvania. The relaxed environment and encouragement from her family was all that she needed to take time for herself. Linda sums up her drive to create when she says, "Art consumes me. What ever is going on in my life, happy, sad or other, I put what I am feeling into my art."

Linda gained her skills through much practice and the kindness and knowledge of other Artists. One of her biggest inspirations has been the "Equine Art Guild."

Linda has worked in many different mediums including, Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Charcoal Pencil and most recently Colored Pencil. "I prefer pencils the best for four reasons:

1. Non-toxic - Colored Pencils are non-toxic and that is very important to me.

2. No mess - Colored Pencils are a very clean medium. I can use them anywhere at any time and there is never a mess.

3. Great Control - Pencils of all kinds offer great control. There are rarely any accidents that can't be fixed.

4. Vibrancy - With colored pencils I am able to achieve a wider range of colors without loosing vibrancy."
