About Me
I have been interested in painting since I was at school but only really took painting up seriously after my children became more self-sufficient. I still regard myself as an amateur with a flair for drawing and painting and I specialise in wild animals, especially the big cats, as can be seen from viewing my website.
I am a member of Winchester Art Society, The Society of all Artists and my local Fair Oak Art Society and am in the process of working with a small nunber of other people to create an Itchen Community Wildlife Art Club, which is holding its launch exhibition in May 2006.
I live very near to Marwell Zoological Park, which specialises in breeding endangered species, such as the Snow Leopard and Amur Leopard, of which there are only 30 breeding pairs left in the wild. My whole family are dedicated to the preservation of these beautiful creatures. |
