Welcome to Taylor Art Studio, here at this wonderful place called "League of Animal Artists".  I am a self taught, self representing Canadian animal artist.   Taylor Art Studio is located Ontario, Canada where I reside with my  husband,  4 children, and 5 parrots!. Like all animal and pet portrait artists, I have  a deep rooted love and passion for animals, nature and wildlife.  My  forte seems to have fallen with parrot art and  parrot portraits where I often am requested to create Parrot Portraits using both single and Mixed Media Art Forms!

I am  very great-full to have found the Joy of working in mixed media, as this offers such an open door  for  possibilities beyond our  typical Pet Portrait! . For example, some customer's have always envisioned their pet in both a surreal as well as a  real setting!. It's fantastic!

When you purchase a pet portrait service from me,  I  always begin with a fun and inspiring questionnaire.  This allows the customer to share their love of their pet,  their pet/s personalities and also share their "dreams and or visions"  of the look and feeling they want to portray.  Overall, this allows me to "get to know" your pet,  capture that same feeling you have and together we work to  bring your vision alive! No matter how simple, or complex it is!
