Born in 1966, in Holland I have always had a great love for animals but especially horses and cats and since I was first able to hold a crayon have been trying to capture them on paper.

My family left Holland when I was about 5 years old and as my father was working for a Dutch company as an expate, we traveled and lived in several different countries, from Kuwait, Ethiopia, Lebanon, New Zealand, Brazil, Switzerland to where we have now settled in South Africa.

After closing down my Arab/Friesian stud, I decided to concentrate on my art work again. I work primarily in oils, and combine this with metalic coloures spray paints. I specialise in predominately portraying the majesty and the escens that are the Friesian, Arabian and Lusitano/Andalusian horses.
