Donna Weber was born and raised in Montana and has lived her entire life there, up to this point in time. She's always been an artist and a horsewoman, she's constantly learning more about both of these, her favorite subjects.

Donna belongs to the Equine Art Guild and the Misssion Valley Back Country Horsemen. She's written articles for the Equine Palette, was contributing writer to an article on photographing animals for portraits in Equine Vision and was editor of the Packstring for three years.

Awards and Accomplishments:

Some of Donna's paintings have won prizes at the Western Montana Fair in Missoula, Mt and in 2001 her painting of "Heart and Soul" won 1st prize in Novice Painting, EAG juried show. It was also chosen as one of the paintings that illustrated the article Equine Vision wrote about the annual Equine Art Guild's juried show for 2001. Her painting " Rocky Mountain Winds" was voted featured auction on the One Made auction site on OneMade.com 11/29/2000.

Her first one woman art show was held in St. Lukes Hospital, Ronan, MT during the month of February, 2002.

A self-taught artist, Donna likes to use large abstract shapes to lead you to the reality of her subjects. She loves to experiment and try new things so it's hard to tell what she might paint next! She continues to paint at her studio, which is in her feed store, at St. Ignatius, MT.
