I have been an artist since childhood but it has been a spasmodic rather than continual effort as life, school and work managed to get in the way. I began with oils and moved to watercolor when I had small children in the house. Last year I discovered artist grade colored pencils and now I am hooked.

| I vary my subject matter greatly, but enjoy painting animal portraits such as Australian natives and wild birds. I have two dogs and a cat which provide constant reference material! I enjoy the challenge of painting an animal I haven't done before. |
