About Me
Tigerpixie Art Studio
"Vivid Cat Paintings & Mystical Fantasy Art"
Carrie Hawks, 27, a full time self-representing artist. I have been painting and drawing ever since I can remember. My favorite
mediums are acrylic and ink but I also like to use colored pencil and watercolors. I like to work with vivid colors and show a lot of texture
and expression in each of my paintings. I also enjoy painting tiny miniature paintings.
I love to paint Cats and Fantasy themes like dragons, fairies, gargoyles, vampires etc. I have been fascinated by all things that are fantasy
my entire life. My main subject is cats because I love them so much. My cats are my inspiration and models for most of my cat paintings. I
enjoy painting my cats in all the colors of the rainbow and also traditional colors.You can see a lot of my artwork from the 2 past years
in my Art Gallery.
I live in Florida with my wonderful husband and son. We have four beautiful cats that were all strays. They are my babies! Pookie is a Himalayan.
Tabby and Leo are brother and sister. Zoe is the youngest. You can meet all of my "Furbabies" on the My Cats page of my website and play some
Fun Feline Games featuring the four of them.
