| About me and my artwork: |
As an artist, I strive to capture the true and natural essence of the animal I have chosen for my subject. Recently I have been working on a series of wolf pencil drawings. I love to depict the haunting glow of the wolf's eyes, the varied texture of his fur, the intent of his gaze. I have been working mainly using pencil, and some colored pencil.
I reside on our family farm in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa. Surrounded by cornfields and cattle, my love and respect for nature is reflected in my deeply realistic artwork. I have been drawing since high school, and have earned my BA Degree in Art and BS Degree in Computer Graphics.
I have sold my artwork all over the world, most recently to Canada, the United Kingdom, Scotland, Sweden and Japan. |
