Living in rural Oklahoma raising cutting horses and having nine dogs of my own, provides me with a lot of inspiration and subject matter. I enjoy doing commissioned pieces and have recently taken up pastels again after a long period of not doing them. I like to capture as much personality and emotion as I possibly can, along with detail. To me, a piece is not effective if people aren't affected by it.
