Born in 1974 in the south of Sweden I recently got married and found my way across the Atlantic Ocean. I am now living with my husband and two adopted dogs in New Orleans, Louisiana. My love for art started when I was very young being surrounded by the beautiful Swedish nature, the family dog, cats, rabbits, creative parents and my grandfather’s funny caricature paintings.
When it comes to painting I’m mostly self-taught. I started to try and see how close I could get to other artists’ work like those of James Bama and Norman Rockwell and photographs in nature encyclopedias.
I went to Art School for two years in 1999-2000, learning everything from weaving and drawing to ceramics and photography.
